Google + Wildfire = Match Made in Heaven
Today makes it official – the company that I work, Wildfire Interactive, social media marketing technology company.
The same company that loves it when Dexter shares desks with me.
The same company that pays for my gym membership to keep up with my fitness.
The same company that pays me to speak with global agencies to build reselling partnerships.
The same company that participated in my wedding in 2011, and let me borrow a well respected kegorator (Thanks Victoria!!)
The same company that respects when I am sick, and forces me to go home.
The same company that leads the industry in social media marketing technology, with over 16,000 paying customers and works with 30 of the worlds top 50 brands.
The same company with over 27 International Partnerships in 24 global markets.
Just happens to be the same company that announced this morning that Google has acquired us. Yes, I said it right Google acquired Wildfire Interactive. Google is the worlds leading marketing company.
The same company that creates the best web browser – Chrome.
The same company that you search EVERYTHING and ANYTHING with.
The same company with the most white space ever on their home page… crazy right?
The same company that recently became the leader in mobile phones.
The same company that is going to take over residential internet (click here to read my recent post about Google Fiber)
The same company that allocates its employees 20% of their work day time to work on innovative and creative projects that spawned products like Gmail (http://techcrunch.com/2011/07/20/20-percent/)
The same company that has a HUGE campus in Mountain View, in which will be my new work place.
The same company with wifi buses to pick you up for work and drop you off.
The same company with the worlds best employee benefits, including free lunch, masseurs, and much more.
Yes that is the company that will become my new employeer, later this week. How exciting to become a Googler – with the Wildfire history behind me. I began with Wildfire early 2011, as a double digit employee I witnessed our companies explosion from 100 employees in May 2011, to over 400 now in July 2012. Amazing.
